We create spaces for women to know and be known by others so they can find their home and voice at The Austin Stone. Through equipping, cultivating gifts, and catalyzing leaders, we empower women to display the fullness of God’s glory in our church, our city, and around the world. Every congregation provides opportunities to connect with other women and deepen your love for Jesus through gatherings, mentorship, Bible studies, and retreats.

We encourage you to join us for one of our Bible studies in the fall or spring, or attend a gathering at your congregation! We’re also always looking for women to serve, mentor, and lead in other ministries across The Austin Stone. You can directly contact your congregation’s Women’s Ministry representative to better understand the needs and available opportunities to serve!
Discipleship is both personal and communal, so we believe it’s essential to create events that foster relationships among one another. When women come together for conversations, shared meals, and Bible study, God does amazing things. All our events seek to help us magnify Jesus in our lives and spur us on in faith.
Here are a few regular Women’s Ministry events:
Every fall and spring, we offer Bible study for women to participate in with others from their congregation. These studies range from six to twelve weeks long and begin in late January and mid-September. These Bible studies are designed to help women grow their knowledge and love of the Bible. They include guided homework, class lectures, and group discussion times.
Congregations also regularly host a variety of classes during the fall and spring semesters, which can include equipping opportunities for new moms, book clubs, and more.
We encourage and hope to foster discipleship at The Austin Stone through groups that meet regularly. These groups typically include women and men. You can contact your congregation’s Connection Director for next steps on how to get involved with a group at The Austin Stone.
We also recommend participating in one of our semesterly women’s Bible studies as a supplement to your spiritual growth in community!
We love books and podcasts, but we ultimately hope to point you to the Bible and community for discipleship and spiritual growth. That’s why our studies focus on helping you know, love, and obey God’s Word with others and developing skills for personal Bible study!
Our Women’s Mentorship Network introduces mentors to potential mentees.
Please note that, due to the limited number of available mentors in our network, we require potential mentees to be already involved in a missional community. We will also prioritize women who are partners of The Austin Stone.
Our counseling center provides direct biblical counseling services, as well as groups and classes. They also have resources for walking through infertility, infidelity, post-abortive care, recovery, and more.
We’d also love to get to know you and connect you to pastoral care in your congregation if needed. Contact your congregation’s Women’s representative or the Women’s Ministry directly at women@austinstone.org.
