Women’s Workshop is an all-day equipping event designed to foster biblical literacy and encourage a deep love of the Bible among women of The Austin Stone. This year’s workshop is an opportunity to wrestle not only with our understanding but also with our application of Scripture. With the help of Catherine Renfro, we will examine 2 Corinthians 5:11–21 and its invitation to leverage our lives for the gospel by learning what practical everyday evangelism looks like!
We’ll consider and discuss these questions using Scripture together:
Whether these questions seem essential for the season you’re in, or too intimidating or scary to even ask, we hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 16!

Catherine Renfro serves as the National Director of Women’s Evangelism at the North American Mission Board. She is also a church planter’s wife and a mom of three awesome kiddos. In 2021, she and her husband, Chris, began the church-planting journey, launching Hope Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, where Chris serves as the lead pastor. Catherine graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010 with a master’s degree in Christian Education and Biblical Counseling after being called to ministry at 22, and has served in full-time ministry ever since. She is passionate about seeing lost people come to know Jesus and for believers to live out their purpose of making Jesus known.

The workshop is a full-day training that includes four teaching sessions with Catherine Renfro, a Q&A session, and time for individuals to process the content both individually and in small group discussions. You’ll also get lunch, snacks, fun surprises, and access to the recorded sessions after the workshop. Childcare is not provided.
The St. John location will host Catherine Renfro live. The South Campus location will receive a stream of Catherine’s teaching. All other event details will be the same.
No. The Women’s Workshop stream will only be available at the South Campus. The recorded content will be available to ticketed registrants after the workshop.
Childcare is not provided, but infants are welcome.
You’re more than welcome to register your middle or high-school-aged daughter to attend with you (separate registration required). We believe this year’s workshop content presents an excellent opportunity for discipleship. We’d like to note that we won't be modifying or limiting adult discussion in a way that caters explicitly to teens or younger women. Therefore, moms need to be willing and available to help their daughters navigate the teaching and discussion based on their maturity level.
We’re happy to provide partial scholarships to anyone who needs financial assistance. Please request a scholarship here BEFORE registering.
Refunds and location changes are available if requested through the form below through July 31. After that date, we'll no longer issue refunds (and you'll forfeit your workshop swag), but you’ll still receive access to the filmed main sessions. Request a refund here.
