This year’s workshop is an opportunity to wrestle with some of the most challenging passages in Scripture, especially as women. With the help of Katie McCoy, PhD, we’ll zoom in on Old Testament laws that pertain to women in the areas of female biology, infidelity, sexual assault, and more.
Together, we’ll grow in understanding the cultural context of these laws, what they mean for us today, and what they ultimately tell us about God as the Lawgiver. We’ll also recognize how our current cultural lenses impact our interpretation of these passages and find that God deeply values women, provides justice for them, and calls His people to care for those vulnerable in society.
What if these difficult passages could move from ones we avoid or misunderstand to ones that fuel our assertion that our God is unmatched in His character and love for women? How would our relationships with our Father change? How would our witness to the world change? We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 10!

Refunds are available if requested through the form below through July 19. After that date, we will not issue refunds (and you forfeit your workshop swag), but you’ll still receive access to the filmed main sessions. Request a refund here.
The workshop is a full-day training that includes three teaching sessions with Katie McCoy, Q&A, and time to process the content individually and in small group discussions. You’ll also get lunch, snacks, fun surprises, and access to the recorded sessions after the workshop. Childcare is not provided.
We will not stream Women’s Workshop, but the recorded content will be available to ticketed registrants after the workshop.
Unlike previous workshops, this year’s workshop content does not lend itself to including middle or high school students. The biblical texts we will be studying deal with Old Testament laws concerning mature concepts, including female biology, infidelity, sexual assault, and more. Registrants are welcome to rewatch session videos with others (including older children at their discretion), but we ask all registrants to be at least 18 years old.
Childcare is not provided, but infants are welcome.
We’re happy to provide partial scholarships for anyone needing financial assistance. Please request a scholarship here before registering.
