Our North Congregation was founded in 2015 on the desire to be an authentic people with a heart for sharing the gospel throughout our city and the nations. While a lot has changed in the years that followed, that passion remains true today. Our hope is to be a place where people can belong, connect, and be led for the flourishing of God’s glory.
Whether you’re a single professional, a new or seasoned family, or an empty nester, there’s a place for you here! We host worship services, equipping opportunities, community gatherings, and more to create welcoming spaces where people from all walks of life can come together to worship Jesus.
As one of the pastors at The Austin Stone North Congregation, a warm welcome is exactly what I hope you experience here. We are a community of folks from across North Austin, from all backgrounds, and at every stage of life. We’re serious about following Jesus together and aim to help one another experience the joy Jesus offers.
I hope you join us on a Sunday! You’ll experience worship and preaching that is deeply rooted in the Bible. If you have kiddos, we work hard to create a safe, fun, and truth-filled space for them.
Whatever your story is, welcome to North! There’s a place for you here. We have a great God who is doing great things—even right here, in the simple setting of the suburbs. I hope you’ll join us.

Each Sunday, we host programming for children 8 weeks old through 5th grade at 9am and 11am. Thoroughly vetted and trained volunteers provide a safe and fun environment for kids to worship Jesus in a large-group setting and learn about the Bible in a smaller group. For nursery-aged children, we provide a caring space where they are prayed over and cared for during services.
Students in 5th–7th grade meet on Sundays during the 11am service at our North Campus Annex for games, Round Rock Donuts, and discussion-based lessons that empower students to read the Bible on their own!
Students in 8th–12th grade are encouraged to integrate into their church family on Sunday mornings. This includes worshiping alongside their family or friends during service or serving in other ministries.
Students in 6th–12th grade meet weekly on Sundays from 6–8pm at our North Campus Main Building for a night of community, fun, food, and studying the Bible! This time together helps empower students to deepen their faith and take the good news of Jesus into their schools, sports teams, and jobs.

Come to a Discovery event! These quick gatherings take place throughout the year, and you’ll have an opportunity to meet our pastors and elders, hear more about The Austin Stone, and ask any additional questions.
If you’re looking for community, we’d love to connect you to a group! Each semester, we offer a class outlining what it means to invest in a group at The Austin Stone. You can stop by our Connections area on Sunday mornings to get more information.
You can also volunteer on one of our service teams to get to know more people at our North Congregation!
Throughout the year, we host a Connect Class, which is designed to connect you with others at the church and form new groups. If there isn’t an upcoming Connect Class, you can reach out to Rudy Tschang—he’ll help connect you to a group.
Signs will point you to the check-in area, where one of our Kids volunteers can help! We are committed to safety, so every child must be checked in and out using a check-in system.
At your first visit, you’ll provide some basic family information, including your full name, your child’s full name, their birthday, your contact information, and any special instructions or allergy information. Once you’ve checked in your child, you’ll receive corresponding parent and child stickers, which you’ll use to pick up your child after the worship service.
