Groups at The Austin Stone

Connecting with other believers for joy and growth

What Are Groups at The Austin Stone?

Groups at The Austin Stone are consistent, Christ-centered friendships that provide unique ways for you to follow Jesus and live out the mission God has called us to as a church. Together, we live out The Austin Stone’s mission to love God, the church, the city, and the nations. While no single group takes that entire mission on their shoulders, we relentlessly pursue it collectively with each group expressing unique aspects of that mission.

What We Do

Family

With our identity as brothers and sisters and Jesus' command for us to love each other in mind, we define the value of family as loving one another as sisters and brothers.

What We Do

We believe that the New Testament presents three clear values that drive faithful and fruitful Christian community groups—family, discipleship, and mission.

Family

With our identity as brothers and sisters and Jesus' command for us to love each other in mind, we define the value of family as loving one another as sisters and brothers.

Discipleship

Discipleship is the lifelong process in which a Christian develops into the person God designed them to be. Discipleship affects our whole being—our thoughts, our desires, and our actions. We define the value of discipleship as how we know, delight in, and obey God together.

Mission

The mission of The Austin Stone is to love God, the church, the city, and the nations. With this in mind, we define the value of mission as seeking the kingdom of God in the church, city, and nations.
