Disciple-Making Intensive

Do you desire to advance the gospel wherever you are placed in your community or within the city? If so, take the next step by joining a 10-week Disciple-Making Intensive (DMI).

DMIs are designed to provide our church body with practical training and tools to help each person discover their role in fulfilling the Great Commission. These groups come together for 10 weeks to pray, study disciple making, and plan how they will put into action what they are learning.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do DMIs take place?

Groups meet around Austin at different times and days of the week and typically run during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Who should be in a DMI?

DMIs are for anyone who desires to learn practical tools to advance the gospel wherever they are placed–whether that’s within the city or among the nations! Groups normally consist of six to 12 people.

What happens in a DMI?

Over the course of 10 weeks, members will read through the book Spiritual Multiplication in the Real World by Dr. Bob McNabb and go through an accompanying study guide. Each week, the group will meet to report on what God has been doing in answer to prayers, through new relationships, and in members’ personal growth. DMIs also practice the rhythm of 3-2-1, a weekly time commitment of three hours with Jesus, two hours training with believers among the lost, and one hour in corporate prayer for the harvest.
