As The Austin Stone’s oldest campus, we’ve experienced a lot of change since 2002. But our heart for this city and the people who call it home has remained. We’re not located in the center of Austin by coincidence—we’re here because we believe God is inviting us to play an active role in proclaiming His gospel in our city. And we’d love for you to be a part of that story.
Because we’re located in downtown Austin, the people who call our church home come from all different demographics and walks of life. Whether you’re a college student looking to connect, a family wanting to get plugged in, or an empty nester hoping for community, there’s a place for you here.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
We worship alongside our church family on Sunday mornings across multiple Austin Stone locations, but we mainly gather at the Downtown Campus! During the week, we gather in small-group settings that meet throughout Austin in college students’ apartments, houses, dorms, and campus facilities. These groups typically share meals together, read the Bible, pray, and enjoy doing life in Austin with one another. We have co-ed, guys, and girls groups that college students can join at any time throughout the semester!
Each Sunday, we host programming for children 8 weeks old through 5th grade at 9am and 11:15am. Our thoroughly vetted and trained volunteers provide a safe and fun environment for kids to worship Jesus in a large-group setting and learn about the Bible in a smaller group. And for nursery-aged children, we provide a caring space where they are prayed over and cared for during services.
On Sunday mornings, we have a time for students in 9th through 12th grade to connect with leaders and each other during the 11:15am service. We'll provide breakfast!
High school students also gather weekly on Sunday evenings from 5-7:30pm at our St. John Campus for a time of food, fun, worship, and gospel teaching. High school DCOMMs also meet during this time.
On Sunday mornings, our 6th through 8th graders meet during the 11:15am service for a time focused on building community, having fun, and establishing firm foundations of faith!
Middle school students gather weekly on Sunday evenings from 5-7:30pm at our St. John Campus. Middle school DCOMMs also meet during this time.

Parking is available in surface lots on the east side of the building (accessible by Cesar Chavez) or on the west side of the building (accessible by Stephen F Austin Drive). Street parking is also available surrounding the campus. Additional parking can be found in the lots near the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (under MoPac) or at the WAYA fields off Reserve Road.
Since we’re located in the heart of downtown near some of Austin’s best trails, our best advice is to arrive early to find parking!
Yes! Our Kids Ministry has programming available during the 9am and 11:15am service for newborns through 5th grade. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the Kids check-in area. If you need any help, find a volunteer wearing an Austin Stone shirt—they’ll point you in the right direction. Because of our commitment to safety, you’ll check your child(ren) in using our check-in system.
We also have programming for 6th through 12th graders through our Students Ministry during the 11:15am service. Students will meet in the Austin High School Library for a time with food, fun, worship, and gospel teaching!
For our classes that take place on Sundays, we utilize a variety of spaces in the main building of Austin High School. If a class occurs on a weekday, we typically meet at another Austin Stone campus or in homes across the city. Either way, if you’re enrolled in a class, we’ll always send you clear details on where we’ll be meeting!
We don’t currently have live interpretation, but our South Congregation does offer live ASL interpretation during their 9am service each Sunday! We also post each sermon online with closed captioning.
