Downtown Road Closures

Whether concerts, conferences, or marathons, it seems like there's always something going on in Austin. On weekends when events are taking place in Downtown Austin, be sure to leave your homes with plenty of extra time to account for traffic.

Below are maps to show how to access Austin High School for the morning services.

Need to Know:

Directions to Austin High School for 4/6 during the Cap10k race:

Access is limited to one inbound lane via W. 6th St. / Atlanta St. to Austin High School from 5-10:30am. Avoid it all by parking at Zilker or joining us at the 11am service.

Mopac:

• Exit Mopac Southbound: Windsor Rd/W. 24th St.
• Turn right onto N. Lamar Blvd.
• Turn right onto W. 6th St.

• Exit Mopac Northbound: Lake Austin Blvd.
  • Turn left onto W. 6th St.
• Turn left onto Atlanta St. (intersection is officer controlled) ‍
• Turn left onto Stephen F. Austin Dr./Veterans Dr. to the West lot.

Lamar

• Exit west on W. 6th St.
• Turn left onto Atlanta St. (intersection is officer controlled)
• Turn left onto Stephen F. Austin Dr./Veterans Dr. to the West lot

Zilker Parking

• Park at the Zilker surface lot under the Mopac Bridge and walk across Roberta Crenshaw Pedestrian Bridge to access Austin High School
