Volunteer to participate in an English as a Second Language class for immigrants. Learning English is one of the most formidable challenges for immigrants in our city. Volunteers will primarily help class participants learn English through conversation, so there is no need to know a second language to help. Consistency is one of the strongest contributing factors to helping immigrants learn English, so we ask that you commit to serving at least once a week. That also helps build relationships and trust between the immigrants and volunteers. Come serve and make a difference in an immigrant's life!
- North—Tuesday and Friday Mornings, August 23 - December 13 from 9:30-11:30am
- Northwest—Monday and Thursday Mornings, August 22 - December 12 from 9:30-11:30am
