No Matter What We Face

Lacey is a dental hygienist who is passionate about teeth and loves her job. She was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, which caused both numbness and pain in her body. When she was told that she would be having brain surgery, Lacey feared the time away from work and possibly not being able to continue her work at all.

During her recovery, Lacey spent a lot of time alone with God. “In that time, God definitely showed so much to me—being content in Him and sitting in His presence…” God brought physical and spiritual healing to her body. And though Lacey still has symptoms that affect her life, she trusts in the Lord. “If one day I won’t be able to be a hygienist anymore, I’m just praying that I’ll be able to give that to the Lord, and … that I would not put my worth in my career and in a profession, but in my identity in Jesus.”
