Read Hebrews 11:1–3. Verse 1 says, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for.” What do you think that means? Discuss.
Faith is also “the conviction of things not seen.” What do you think that means? Discuss.
How has faith been evidenced in your life? Give some examples.
Who are some of the most hope-filled, faithful people you know? Explain.
What are some of the specific opportunities you have right now to demonstrate faith in Jesus?
Are you facing any impossible, unresolved, or hopeless situations? If so, what could it look like for you to demonstrate faith in the face of those circumstances?
After discussing, go to God in prayer together and voice every seemingly impossible circumstance you are facing, trusting that God hears you, that He can be trusted, and that He will deliver on His every promise!
