Hebrews 10:26-39

  1. Read Hebrews 10:24–31. What do you think Hebrews 10:31 means when it says it’s “a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”?
  2. Hebrews 10:26 identifies people who “go on sinning deliberately even after receiving the knowledge of the truth.” Who is the author talking about here? Explain.
  3. How can you know if you are truly saved? What’s the evidence?
  4. Where are you specifically tempted to sin in this season of life? How are you resisting those temptations?
  5. How can the people around you help you in your fight against sin?
  6. Read Hebrews 10:32–39. During hard seasons, it is good to be reminded that God is always at work in His people. Where have you seen evidence of God working in you during a challenging season?
  7. Where have you seen evidence of God working in other people in the group? Go around the room and call attention to specific instances of God’s grace you have seen evidenced in each person.
  8. Spend a few moments praying together for one another.
