SCL is a weekend-long event where students from our ministry come together to spend time with Jesus and build relationships with each other. Each day will have worship, teaching, small groups, devotionals, breakouts, free time, and late night activities! We love to kick off the new school year and give our students an opportunity to connect with the Lord, their friends, and with leaders, and have a ton of fun!
SCL will be at Pine Cove Ridge Summer Camp in Columbus, Texas. Students will stay in bunk houses with other students their age and gender, and all activities will be on the Pine Cove camp grounds.
Any student that is currently in 6th through 12th grade! Our students are encouraged to invite their friends and they don’t have to be an attender of The Austin Stone to sign up.

Both weekends will be led in worship by an Austin Stone Worship band.
Your students will mostly be hanging out with their DCOMM (small groups of the same grade/gender) and their DCOMM Leaders. Worship, games, free times and meals will be with all of our students. Leaders who will be participating in SCL have completed our safety onboarding process which includes applications, interviews, background checks, child abuse prevention trainings, and other Austin Stone policy and procedure trainings. Your students' safety is our highest priority.
We ask students to NOT bring their cell phones to this event. Our full cell phone and digital devices policy can be found here.
If a student has prescribed medicine, they will check it in when they arrive on Friday night. The camp medical staff will be responsible to ensure that the student receives it at their prescribed times. Prescribed medication must be in the original packaging. As far as over the counter medication is concerned, items need to be clearly identified/identifiable and handed out at the discretion of the camp medical team and approved by parents (for example: insect bite cream, Tums, headache medicine, etc).
Registration opens on Monday, August 1. Click here to register.
We have payment plans available! When registering, select the “Payment Plan” option and you’ll be able to pay for SCL in two separate payments. The first payment will be due at registration.
Your student may bring one carry on (backpack), one duffle/suitcase, and their bedding.
Pro-Tip: Label all of your stuff!
