The Bible tells us to "rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep," implying that our joy is doubled and our griefs are lessened when we enter into the peaks and valleys of others and invite others into our own. In other words, joy and mourning are community projects.
But just how do we practically rejoice and weep with others? And how do we bring others into our rejoicing and weeping? Isn’t that a little too scary and awkward? What if we say the wrong thing or come across as too needy?
Join us at our October Northwest Women’s Gathering to explore these questions, learn from those who’ve lived out this biblical command, and get equipped to do the same.
