Tristyn completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!). Her counseling philosophy stems from the belief that true healing and lasting hope are found in the finished work of Jesus Christ. By integrating biblical principles and psychological insights, she aims to support clients in various challenging circumstances or transitions. Her approach focuses on applying the truth of Christ’s death and resurrection to the complexities of everyday life, as she offers professional, compassionate support.
Tristyn has experience working with eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, perinatal loss, marriage issues, parenting, career issues, and life transitions.
In her free time, Tristyn loves reading, running, listening to podcasts, tending to her many houseplants, and drinking coffee. She met her husband while they were both undergraduates at the University of Texas at Austin, and they have two amazing kids.
