Samantha earned a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from LeTourneau University in 2023. She is now a graduate student at Concordia University Irvine, where she is completing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After working in an administrative role for several years at a counseling center in East Texas, she is humbled and honored to now sit with clients as a therapist in Austin.
Samantha is passionate about children and adolescents and has worked with this demographic in many different settings: substitute teaching, nannying, leading in the youth group, serving in children’s ministry, and working as a camp counselor. Samantha considers walking alongside teenagers during this crucial time of life an absolute privilege. She hopes to provide a space where kids, teens, and adults alike feel seen, safe, and supported. She will encourage, challenge, and empower you to live your life as the beloved child of God that you are.
Her own time on “the other side of the couch” as a teenager needing therapy led her to pursue her vocational calling as a counselor. When she is not at the office, you might find her at the gym, on the trail, enjoying a sweet treat with her friends, or somewhere reading a good book. She was born and raised in the Dallas area, but loves living in Austin, where she enjoys both the city experiences and the abundance of outdoor activities. The freedom offered through the Gospel is her foundation because—though she may try as an Enneagram Type Three—she will never be able to do enough, be enough, or say enough to earn the gift of grace freely given to us by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
