Renee graduated from The University of Texas with a bachelor's in Radio-Television-Film in 2015. In 2018, she received a MA in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. Renee has been involved at The Austin Stone in many ways over the years, including serving in Kids Ministry, College Ministry, and as a Missional Community Leader. Renee enjoys working with adults, children, and caregivers—relying on the love of Jesus to find understanding and hope. Renee believes that Jesus is the ultimate Healer and source of wisdom and integrates biblical counseling into her sessions. For children, she creates a safe, open environment to allow children to lead in discovering and alleviating their hurts, while collaborating with parents in understanding their unique situation. Renee is an LPC Associate under the supervision of Crystal Wilkins, LPC-S, RPT-S, CCLS.
Renee has experience with kids, adults, and couples, and issues such as anxiety, depression, relational issues, life transitions, childhood issues, and play therapy. She sees clients ages three and older.
Renee enjoys the outdoors with her husband Aaron, shopping at thrift stores, and eating good food with great community.
