
Amber graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University in 2013 and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2020. Her previous experience includes counseling in non-profit and shelter settings as well as private practice. Amber is passionate about helping people by utilizing a holistic approach grounded in a biblical worldview to care for their minds, bodies, and spirits. She believes every person has incredible worth and can live an abundant life.
Amber is certified by the EMDR International Association of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a psychotherapy that aids in relieving the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Amber specializes in the following areas—perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, sexual abuse recovery, body image, sexuality, depression, anxiety, and life stage transitions. Amber utilizes a variety of expressive modalities to help clients process including EMDR and sand tray therapy.
Amber and her husband Sean met at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2017 and were married in 2019. God has blessed them with three daughters, born in 2021, 2023 and 2026. She enjoys being outdoors, crocheting, playing board games, theme parks, concerts, and serving as a deacon at her church.
