The partnership process is designed to give participants sufficient knowledge about the identity, convictions, and practices of The Austin Stone so that they can make an informed decision about whether or not to commit to the covenant community of this church. The process has three major sections:
- Small-Group Discussions
- An Elder-Led Large Group Class
- Individual Partner Affirmation Meetings
