"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever." (Ephesians 3:20 ESV)

20 Years of The Austin Stone

Two decades ago, a small group of people gathered together in a tiny south Austin apartment. Longing to see a church rooted in the gospel, they prayed Ephesians 3:20—asking God to do far more abundantly than they could ask for or imagine. And He did.

Those 10 brothers and sisters set the foundation for the thousands that now call The Austin Stone home. While they could never have imagined all that would come for our church, the Lord did. From the moment they asked Him to do abundantly more, a grand storyline was put into motion—one that would have resounding echoes throughout our city, the nations, and eternity.
