Steps to Gospel Recovery

Steps to Gospel Recovery is a 15-week discipleship experience for those who admit they are suffering from their own sinful habits and desire to see transformation through the power of the gospel.

Steps will have groups running on Mondays at the St. John Campus and on Tuesdays at West Campus.

Group Description:

Steps to Gospel Recovery is a discipleship experience for those who admit they are suffering from their own sinful habits and desire to see transformation through the power of the gospel. Whether you are struggling with pornography, grief, alcoholism, same-sex attraction, loss, drugs, apathy, depression, anxiety, self-image, anger, lust, the fear of others, chronic pain, hopelessness, abuse, or shame (and more), Steps offers a way to experience hope and healing in Christ.

There are three main components:

  • Daily Scripture reading and reflection
  • Group discussion based on the Steps to Gospel Recovery material on meeting night (gender-specific groups)
  • Individual mentorship throughout your journey (this will extend beyond the 15-week study)

Requirements:

We ask that during the program you commit to attending the weekly meetings and identify a mentor who is a mature follower of Jesus, someone you trust and can speak truth to you, and who'd be available to meet with you one to three hours per week for minimum of four months.
