Interests & Specialties

Leslie enjoys sharing God’s unconditional love and secure forever attachment with clients who are struggling to feel and know His presence. She has experience working with various issues including anxiety and depression, grief/loss, PTSD, trauma, self-harm, abuse recovery, empty-nest struggles, life transitions, relationship issues, shame/guilt, aging issues, college journey, and child-parent relationship struggles. She counsels within a framework of Biblical truth using interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) as an adjunct. Besides providing individual counseling, she is currently focusing on building small groups based on Curt Thompson’s Confessional Communities model, a place to work on growing trust and learning to share one’s story more truthfully.

Leslie is master certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma intervention and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I). She is also a Trust-based Relational Interventions (TBRI) Practitioner and a member of the Association for Biblical Counselors and  the Center for Being Known (CBK). Leslie enjoys working with clients to find a sense of identity and purpose and, most importantly, real peace and joy through Jesus. She sees clients ages 17 and older and offers both in person and telehealth/video appointments.
