Leslie received her Bachelor's in Corporate Communications from the University of Texas. From there, she spent 10 years gaining valuable work experience in corporate, nonprofit, and counseling settings—all of which led her to pursue a career in counseling. She completed her master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Amberton University. Leslie deeply values the therapeutic relationship and considers it an honor to participate in the transforming work God is doing in others’ lives. Whatever it is that brings you into counseling, her priority is to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to share your struggles and pain. She will work collaboratively with you to provide compassionate clinical care as you pursue growth and healing.
Leslie has experience working with depression, anxiety/stress, shame/guilt, grief/loss, relationship/family issues, life transitions, spiritual wounds and faith questions, body image, and identity/self-esteem.
Leslie is from east Texas but has made her way back to Austin for the second time to plant roots with her husband and favorite person, Damon. In her free time, she enjoys laughing and not taking herself too seriously, exploring outdoor activities and getting sunshine, exercising, enjoying really good food with even better company, riding bikes, playing volleyball, and anything that involves quality time with her family and friends.
