2. Read page 51, starting with the second paragraph:
"When and where the Gospel lost its place in the everyday life of believers is a mystery, but there is no doubt that it is not informing most of our basic life issues. HopeFest is coming soon: There will be a day of celebration at Reagan High School on October 10th which will spiral into two months (September 26 - Thanksgiving) of sharing God's love in practical ways with the neighborhoods around Reagan High School. We will be partnering with other churches and neighbors from both east and west Austin to meet needs and empower families with resources. There is a great need of volunteers for the celebration day at Reagan. Tell your missional community and sign up together to volunteer here!
Start a Missional Community: Missional communities are designed to bring together people and ideas in a gospel-centered way to renew our city. If there's not a community in your particular part of Austin, or if you're interested in engaging a new group of people with the Gospel, you can start a missional community of your own. To get started, check out the new leader application.
Hugh Halter podcasts: We'll be posting short clips of Hugh Halter answering common questions that you will have as you walk through the Tangible Kingdom Primer. Continue to check the blog as we will be posting these each week!
