Making Disciples
Before Jesus returned to the Father, He left the church with instructions to make disciples from all nations. A disciple isn't a pew-sitter, a religious person, or a fanatic. A disciple is an apprentice, a learner. A disciple is someone who is captivated with the beauty of Christ and is following hard after Him. We want to be those kinds of believers and we want to help others know Him as we do.
To be strategic, we use Acts 1:8 as our model, "...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" Acts 1:8.
- Jerusalem (Austin)
- Judea (U.S.)
- Samaria (outside U.S.)
- Ends of the Earth (unreached peoples)
