A Typical Day in Grade School

Our Sunday KidStuff activities are the same at the 9:30am, 11:15am, and 5:00pm services. (At the 7:00pm service we offer childcare only.)

Here is the typical schedule for grade school on Sundays:

Check In / Plug In Activity
This is a fun activity that is designed to help the kids connect with each other as they come in. It also allows for the small group leader to talk with the kids and catch up with them. We have at least 2 leaders per small group and they are the same leaders each week so that they can build relationships with the children.

KidsRock
KidsRock is a high energy, interactive worship time for our grade schoolers. We start off by doing some kind of activity that allows the kids to dance or move around a lot. Then we sing a few fast worship songs and have a series of skits that teach the week’s lesson. The skits are funny and entertaining, but more importantly they convey the truths we are focusing on that week. We usually wrap up our time with a slower worship song and then dismiss the kids to their small groups.

Small Groups
After KidsRock, grade schoolers go back to their small groups and talk about what they learned from the skit and dive deeper into the truth of the lesson over snacks.

Catch On
The small group leaders then lead the kids through a series of activities that help them apply the truth they have learned and memorize their current Bible verse.

Want to come check it out yourself? Parents are always welcome to come sit in and observe our classes. Email us or look for one of our staff on Sunday and we will get you set up.
