On Ramp Classes are designed to help you get connected at The Austin Stone, these classes are small group based, with many groups continuing on as missional communities once the class ends.

Essential Classes are about the basics; these classes cover the core of Christian belief and practice.

NT Survey I 7 weeks
Fee: $10      Homework: 2-3 hours/week
Have you ever wondered why there are 4 gospels? Why not just one? God has graciously provided us 4 different perspectives on the person and work of Christ. In this class we will walk through each of the gospels, as well as Acts, in the hopes that we would be transformed by the knowledge of God as we see Him in Christ and trust in Him and His work to a greater degree. OT Survey I 10 weeks
Fee: $15      Homework: 2-3 hours/week

Reason For God (formerly PaveStone) 7 weeks
Fee: $10      Homework: 1-2 hours/week
Why does God allow suffering in the world? How could a loving God send people to hell? How can one religion claim to be 'the only way'? Reason for God will walk through these basic questions of belief and the overarching story that the bible tells. Theological Survey I (formerly TouchStone) 8 weeks
Fee: $20      Homework: 2-3 hours/week
THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY. Theological Survey will cover the doctrines of the Word of God, Attributes of God, Trinity, Jesus Christ, Humanity and Sin. Course fee includes book. [download syllabus]
