All Ministries
There are all sorts of ways to get involved in the life of The Austin Stone. One way is to serve with us. Click here for a current list of opportunities to serve the church and the city.

- Prayer: The prayer team is passionate about interceding for our church and the world. Email them with a prayer request or to join the team. On the First Tuesday of each month, we have a church-wide prayer gathering.
- AVLC: This team is responsible for anything involving Audio, Video, Lights or Cameras during Sunday worship services and at other occasional church gatherings. Training is available.
- Set Up and Tear Down: We are a mobile church. Everything that turns Austin High into The Austin Stone must be brought in on Sunday morning and taken out again on Sunday evening. This is a vital ministry and a great way to meet folks.
- Parking Team: Traffic can get backed up a good bit before and after services at AHS. This team helps direct traffic in and out of the AHS parking lot as quickly and safely as possible on Sundays.
- Web Team: You don't have to write code to be on this team! There are opportunities to be involved at various skill types and levels. Help design and maintain austinstone.org.
- KidStuff: If you love to spend time with children, check out this ministry!
- TeenRock: Our junior high and high school ministry. Email to get involved or for more information.
- Welcome Team: This is the team that on Sunday mornings makes sure everyone is greeted with a real smile, gets a bulletin, and have their questions answered.
- College: We have college small groups, freshman specific groups for incoming students, and other activities.
- Church Under the Bridge: The Austin Stone partners with this church for the homeless community of Austin the first and third Sunday of every month.
- Community New Start: CNS is about healthy communities transformed by the power of God one block at a time.
- Makarios: The Austin Stone helps support (with people, prayers, and finances) this ministry to Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic.
- Special Events and Family Reunion Hosts: These volunteers help coordinate gatherings of The Austin Stone for baptisms and other family times.
