Volunteer to participate in an English as a Second Language class for immigrants. Learning English is one of the most formidable challenges for immigrants in our city. Volunteers will primarily help class participants learn English through conversation, so there is no need to know a second language to help. Since consistency is one of the strongest contributing factors to helping immigrants learn English, we ask that you commit to serving once a week. That also helps build relationships and trust between the immigrants and volunteers. Come serve and make a difference in an immigrant's life!
