Starting Sunday we're taking three weeks as a church to look at some key things the Bible says about our finances. Money can be an uncomfortable subject to bring up in our culture–it's often the pink elephant in the room, the big thing that no one wants to talk about. But as Jesus says in Matthew's gospel, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." It's clear that when it comes to being a people who follow Christ in both word and deed, that money matters a great deal.

During these weeks, we'll talk about Jesus’ radical liberation of our love of money and our fear of being without. We'll look at the heart behind being intentional with our finances and consider the practical implications.

This Sunday we'll have services at 9:30am, 11:15am and 5pm at Austin High School.

On Sunday, we'll have Money Matters guide for you to grab; they're designed as a resource for individual reflection and small group discussion on the issue of God and finance. An electronic version of the guide is available here.

KidStuff is expecting a big fall! In light of more and more families at our church with kids, we’re planning to open at least five new classrooms and are looking for faithful, teachable people to join us in loving and serving these youngest ones in our church family.
