NEWS AND NOTES

Summer Conference Audio

If you missed Summer Conference last weekend, the audio from the main sessions is now available in our conference audio archive. Listen and learn from JR Vassar, Todd Ahrend, and Matt as they talk about the importance of discipleship both for our growth in Christ and the extension of His gospel. We’ll be adding audio from the panel practicals in the weeks ahead.

KidStuff FX: Kings and Kingdoms

KidStuff parents – join us this summer for KidStuff FX: Kings and Kingdoms, a special 4-Sunday event for your whole family! From July 26-August 16, you and your kids will have the opportunity to learn and worship together each week at a special family service. We’ll study famous kings throughout the Bible and learn about what it means to follow Jesus – King of Kings. Each week, parents will drop off their children at KidStuff at 9 and attend the 9am worship service and then pick up their children and head to the PAC for the FX family service.

Pick up more information about FX Sunday in the Welcome Center. Family sign ups start next Sunday.

Summer Family Fun

In spite of the triple-digit temperatures, there are a ton of fun things going on around the city this summer. As a way to explore and to connect with other people and families from The Austin Stone we’re highlighting a specific event each week and sending someone there to “host”.

Follow @ascc_summerfun on Twitter or just show up at the event of the week and look for someone holding a bunch of blue balloons. Click here for the full schedule.
